ADS North Rift continues to strengthen resilience among communities prone to climate shocks in the North Rift parts of Kenya.
In collaboration with KALRO through the AGRFI project funded by the European Union, the organization is seeking to promote camel production in West Pokot County.
Through the project, pastoral groups in Masol-Chester (Pokot Central) and Kacheliba were supported with the Somali breed camels to improve the local breeds. This is expected to enhance camel milk and meat production as a climate change adaptation strategy among vulnerable communities.
