Every year on October 16, the world comes together to mark World Food Day, a global call to action to build sustainable, inclusive, and resilient food systems. To ensure that everyone, everywhere, has access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food. For ADS North Rift, this day is more than a commemoration, it’s a reflection of our daily mission to promote wholesome and dignified living through food security and community empowerment.

ADS North Rift joined partners and community members in commemorating Global Handwashing Day 2025 in Marakwet West, under the theme “Be a Hand Washing Hero.” This year’s celebrations focused on promoting proper handwashing practices as a simple yet powerful tool for preventing disease and improving community health.

Every tree planted is a promise to the future. This Mazingira Day, ADS North Rift Region (ADS NRR), in collaboration with the Green Anglican Movement, is turning that promise into reality through a series of impactful environmental activities aimed at protecting and restoring our natural ecosystems.
