Traditional financial institutions often require collateral, credit history, or large deposits that many youth do not have. To bridge this gap, ADS North Rift has been championing Community-Based Microfinance (CBM) as a sustainable and inclusive solution.
ADS North Rift has officially launched a new initiative, the Empowering Resilience through Youth and Women-Led Action for Sustainable Drought Preparedness (ERYWAS) Project, with an inception meeting held at Riamakori Hotel, Turkana County. The meeting brought together key stakeholders to set the pace for a project that places youth and women at the heart of climate adaptation.
