Over 1,843 farmers have been trained in income-generating activities and community-based microfinance (CBM), enabling them to turn their small farms into profitable agribusinesses. From growing azolla for poultry feed to processing sweet potatoes into flour, farmers are learning that agriculture is not just about feeding families, it’s about creating wealth.
Water & Environmental Conservation.
Water is life, and at ADS North Rift, we are ensuring that not a single drop is wasted. Through rainwater harvesting, soil conservation, and water-efficient irrigation techniques, over 2,217 farmers are now safeguarding water resources while increasing productivity.
Poultry & Livestock Farming.
Livestock and poultry farming are playing a crucial role in ensuring nutrition and economic empowerment for smallholder farmers. With improved training in poultry production and dairy farming, many families are now producing enough food for their households while also selling surplus eggs, milk, and meat to generate income.
Tree Nurseries & Reforestation.
In the fight against climate change, tree planting remains one of the most powerful solutions. Communities are taking action by establishing tree nurseries, planting thousands of seedlings to restore forests, protect soil, and improve air quality.
